DIORÁMÁK

My name is Gyula Sipos and I am a taxidermist. Hunting is my hobby, profession and passion. I have admired nature and animals since my early childhood.

As a kid I used to be a member of the Hungarian Organization of Nature and Ornithology. At the moment - in cooperation with the Pedagogical Service of the Primary Art School of Mezőtúr - I try to introduce children to the world of nature, animals and the importance of nature-conscious behaviour by giving presentations on biology and by displaying taxidermy.

As a hunter my admiration for animals and nature has grown and I extended my education as a wildlife manager. I came in touch with taxidermy in 2009 when I attended Diana Hunting School's taxidermy course in Csongrád. Here I gained my basic knowledge from my teacher Pál Nagy. I had a good relationship with the school and I have worked hard to educate myself since then. I had opportunities to be the school's representative at the FEHOVA (Gun, Fishing and Hunting International Exhibition) and at other special occasions in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

From 2013 I attended a special course on taxidermy as a substitution technical instructor. This way I had a chance to develop my skills further using new materials and technologies. At the moment I work at Diana School as a substitution technical instructor on taxidermy.
